Changes to expect

In this section we’ll look at the physical, mental, and behavioural changes that can happen due to a brain tumour and the associated treatments. These pages are here to help you understand what changes to expect, and how to manage these changes.

Some possible physical changes include: difficulties with walking and moving around, dealing with falls, seizures, headaches, and continence. There may also be mental and behavioural changes, such as emotional, personality and behavioural changes, language & communication issues, and difficulties with learning and memory loss.

Additionally, chemotherapy treatments can cause changes in fertility, sexuality and intimacy.
